About Zone4APK
Zone4APK is a small, independent archive of Android game mods. We built it because finding a working, safe mod usually means digging through five sites full of fake download buttons — so we made the site we wanted to use ourselves.
What we do
Every game page lists the mod version, file size, required Android version, full version history, and the changes in each release. Mods are contributed by community builders and by our own testers; nothing is published until it has been installed on a real device and checked against the original game.
We do not host modified versions of paid apps, banking apps, or anything designed to harm a device. Releases that fail our checks are rejected, and existing releases get pulled when a report confirms a problem.
How files are checked
Before a release goes live it goes through the same routine every time:
- The APK is scanned with VirusTotal and the scan date is recorded on the game page.
- When a fingerprint (SHA-256) for the file is on file, it is published on the game page so you can verify the copy you downloaded matches the copy we tested.
- A tester installs it on a physical Android device and confirms the mod features actually work.
- The release is versioned and dated, so older builds stay available if a newer one misbehaves.
That said, no scan catches everything. We treat the safety report on each page as a starting point, not a guarantee — the install guide explains how to double-check a file yourself before installing it.
How we keep the lights on
Every mod on Zone4APK is free to download — no paywall, no account, no subscription. Hosting, antivirus scanning, and the time it takes to vet each release all cost money, so the site is supported by sponsored content shown before a download starts. You may see a short sponsor message or a quick human-verification step before the file is ready; it keeps the site free for everyone. We hold our advertising partners to the same standards we hold ourselves: clearly labelled offers, no deceptive buttons, no hidden auto-subscriptions, and a real download behind every step. If a sponsor experience ever feels misleading, report it through the report button on any game page and we will review that partner.
Independence
We are not affiliated with any game developer or publisher mentioned on this site. Game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the software a mod patches. If a developer wants a release removed, our takedown process handles that promptly.
