Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect when you use Zone4APK, why we collect it, and how to have it deleted. The short version: you can browse and download without an account, and we collect as little as the site needs to function.
What we collect
Anonymous usage: approximate page-view counts, aggregated and not linked to your identity. Like most websites we also receive standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, request time) from our hosting provider, kept for a short window for security and abuse prevention.
- Account data (only if you create one): an email address and a password hash. Used to sign you in and nothing else.
- Ratings and reports: the score or report you submit, tied to your account, with a timestamp.
- Mod requests and upvotes: the request text and votes, tied to your account so voting stays one-per-person.
We do not collect payment information — there is nothing to pay for. We do not ask for your phone number or your Google account.
Why we collect it
Ratings and votes need an account per person to stay honest. Reports are tied to accounts to prevent spam floods. Account emails exist to let you sign in and to respond if you contact support. Technical logs exist to catch scrapers and abuse before they take the site down for everyone else.
Third parties
The site runs on Supabase (database, accounts, file storage) and a CDN host for the pages themselves. Both process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. Sponsored content shown before downloads is served by third-party advertising networks; those networks may set their own cookies as part of the sponsor experience. We do not sell your personal data, and we choose partners who are transparent about what they collect. You can review each network's privacy terms on the sponsor screen before continuing.
Your choices and data deletion
You can browse and download everything without an account. To delete your account and its associated data (ratings, requests, reports), email cpaernest@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will remove it within 30 days. Cookies are limited to what keeps you signed in and what the ad network sets; clearing them in your browser resets all of it.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and accounts are not knowingly created for them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and it will be removed.
